Plus, there's only a single file in the DCBackup folder, where there should be one per item installed. The only installed item in the launcher is the build itself. I can test in Windows later, if you want, but I suspect I'll see the same I just downloaded and tested the house, and I didn't see any custom content either. Point is, you're correct, it's not you, it's the build, or at least it's the build in macOS. (At least, that's the only time I've seen it.) It's possible that the creator inadvertently left out the cc, perhaps by clearing out DCBackup before exporting the build. However, I didn't get a missing items notice when I placed the house and went to build on it, although that message may only appear when loading a save rather than messing around in Edit Town. It may be that people need to download the cc separately to have it appear. I also checked in-game for build/buy custom or store items (sometimes cc shows up as store stuff), and nothing appeared in any of the categories.
